My interest in music was first discovered by my music teacher in primary school. I loved singing, so I joined the choir and learned to play the guitar. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try other instruments such as harmonica, xylophone, and recorder. However, what intrigued me the most was the flute that my teacher played. At that time, my family wanted me to focus only on my studies, and the idea of trying a new instrument was put on hold. 

Then, many years passed. I became an Electrical Engineer, ready for life, and was working. Music was always present in my life, but I knew there was something missing. As life took me to Ankara, I met my life partner and with him, a new chapter in my life began, thanks to the flute he gifted me. When he gave me the instrument I desired the most, I found out that there was someone at my company who had been playing the flute for years; Yelda. I rushed to her and immediately asked what I could do regarding flute lessons. I was very fortunate because Aslı teacher became a part of my life. At the age of 27, I started my first flute lessons. Sometimes I get angry, sometimes very happy, and sometimes very sad, and in the end, my hands always reach for it. I open it and blow a note… The flute has now become my best friend. Not only that, it showed me that it's a way to touch the most beautiful hearts.

Thanks to Aslı teacher, we started rehearsals at Lirik Nefesler and had our first concert. I couldn't even imagine having such an exciting and emotional concert. I am very grateful to everyone who shared this dream, to my childhood self who dreamed of this instrument and wanted it so much, to my life partner, to Yelda , and especially to Aslı teacher. As Aslı teacher said, "If someone is playing the flute somewhere, listen with your heart..."
