I was born in Ankara on 28.03.1987 and I’ve always believed that I will have an artistic career. Before playing the flute, I had tried to play the guitar but when I discovered the flute at high school, when I was 16, I realized that I wouldn’t even imagine myself without it. I’ve found out that, as the flute has become a part of my body, I can express myself better than screaming, laughing, talking and even crying with music, so that everybody can feel what I feel. When I was studying for the university entrance exam, I quit playing for about 3,5 years and after this period when I first tried to play my instrument again, I thought that I could never play again and lost that beautiful feeling once I had. However, it took too short for me to realize that it never ends the fire inside and it would never be too late. Now, I am in a place so far away from my childhood dreams; I am a senior student studying law at Bilkent University, and my music is still with me. The day I met Lirik Nefesler, my belief about the bonds between human and music and the incredible communication throughout this bond has strengthened again. Despite I’ve made some mistakes at the last rehearsal, the only reason that I played perfectly in spite of the stage fear was the reflection of the feelings of the audience. Beyond accomplishing something by yourself and having fun with it, I believe that it is priceless to share what you feel with the people as a common language.
