It was more than ten years ago, in highschool years when I met the flute. Since that time I tried to create opportunities to have a flute and play it adequately. I postponed it because of the priorities and maybe to wait for the right time. By the way, I graduated from Hacettepe University Biology Department in 2005. In the beginning of the year 2012, I realized that if I do not create this occasion, my relationsip with this enstrumant, the timbre of which is very special for me, will not go beyond being just a listener. In that period, our ways crossed with Aslı and Lirik Nefesler. Not only I would play the flute, but also I would be able to touch other lives and contribute to make autistic children happy for a while by using the time and effort I spend for my hobby. The first days were harder than I expected. This task had its own soul and mathematics. It required to pass through a process to understand it. After some time, Aslı got me together with Lirik Nefesler. It was another education to listen to their music for me as each of them passed through a unique progress. To play together in a harmony after individual efforts, to support each other, to wish that every member will be successful, to listen to mini concerts at each practice day, to enjoy what comes out, to touch children’s world by music and to see the happiness in their faces and the peace in their behaviour... During the study times which reqiured high concentration and control but also got me out of the routin pace of life and I enjoyed so much, after a while I realized that your state when playing flut reflects your state at other times in your life. Also it helps you on various fields in your daily life by raising your awareness. That’s why I wish I started not at the age of 29 but many years before it. Still how happy I am that I added this nice activity in my life without postponing it anymore!
